The Hurricane Architect

This is one of three SBCS buildings in Trinidad. These buildings sport unique architectural design that, according to leaders of the institution "defines who they are as an educational institution".

The architecture is a tangible reflection of their vision - to create a unique learning environment.  The buildings convey to the students that they are entering a place where any and everything is possible, where change is not just a word but is in fact SBCS's modus operandi.
The building looks like it was designed or rather thrown together by the high velocity winds of a hurricane, it is very unconventional and a good example of post modern architecture in Trinidad.

  1. The picture screams modern architecture however you should have explained it. I really like the entry nonetheless.
